Maria Santo (nee Leone) Passed away, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, December 6, 2009 after a long battle with cancer. She was a devoted wife of 52 years to Rosino. Loving mother to Tony (Linda) and Rita (Steve). She cherished her grandchildren Victoria, Anthony, Phillip and David. She will be missed by her dear sisters Vincenza Savelli and Giuseppina Di Vizio, their families and countless friends. All will be received at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W, Toronto on Monday from 7-9pm and Tuesday 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clare’s Roman Catholic Church, 1118 St. Clair Ave W, Toronto on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 10am. Entombment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Thornhill. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer society or Baycrest Palliative Care.
