Perna, Maria Gemma - Passed away peacefully early Monday, March 2nd in her home with her family by her side. Maria Gemma, loving wife of Carmine for 64 years; dear mother of Joseph, Franca and John; cherished Nonna of Christine, Brendan and Deanna. Maria Gemma will always be remembered for the love and care she gave her family, her beautiful garden, and her unequalled tomato sauce. Gemma’s unconditional love will be with us always.
Visitation will be held at the Jerrett Funeral Home "North York Chapel", 6191 Yonge St (south of Steeles) on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Blessed Trinity Parish, 3220 Bayview Ave (north of Finch). Entombment at Forest Lawn Mausoleum.
