Maria Da Costa

God called Maria DaCosta peacefully on June 30, 2018 at the age of 93. She is now reunited in heaven with her husband Francisco. Beloved Mother to Olivia (Ken), Connie (Jose), Joe (Maria), Dennis and Elizabeth (Paul). Loving Vavό to Jennifer (Chris), Michelle (Mike), Matthew, Christopher, Andrea, Ian, Alex, Maria-Lousia (Marcus and Rachel). Maria will be dearly missed by her loving Great-Grandchild, Payton. She is pre-deceased by her loving brothers and sisters, Manuel, Jose, Gloria, Carmen, Trindade and Paulina. She is survived by her sister Gilda. Maria will be held dear in the hearts of her loving family and friends, she will be missed by all. A visitation will be held at THE JERRETT FUNERAL HOME (1141 St. Clair Ave W., one block east of Dufferin St.) on Friday, July 6 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm & 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church (706 Old Weston Rd. Toronto) at 9:30 am. Entombment at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (7300 Hwy. 27. Woodbridge) to follow. A celebration of Maria DaCosta’s beautiful life and mass in memory with lunch reception will be held on Sunday September 30, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Maria DaCosta can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
