Margaret Lorraine Schulz, lovingly known as Lorraine, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025, at Westside Long-Term Care Home, at the age of 92. Born on May 18, 1932, Lorraine lived a life full of kindness, curiosity, and quiet strength.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Hans Schulz, with whom she shared a joyful marriage since July 1963. She also leaves behind her son Chris Baxter (Shirley), grandchildren Sean and Michelle (Chris Lloyd), and great-grandchildren Isabelle, Ivy, and Lilly—each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Lorraine had a love for fashion, especially shoes and clothes, and a remarkable knack for keeping up with the latest in technology. Bright, forward-thinking, and always eager to learn, she was a woman ahead of her time. Above all, Lorraine will be remembered for her brilliant mind and her boundless compassion. She cared deeply for both people and animals, offering warmth and support to everyone around her.
Family and friends may visit at the Delmoro Funeral Home, 61 Beverly Hills Dr. (Jane and Wilson) on Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 11:00am-12:00pm. The Funeral Service will follow at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Cremation to follow privately.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a local animal shelter in Lorraine’s memory.
