It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Margaret Elsie Martin (nee Brady), more fondly known as Maggie to all that knew her on Friday, April 19th, 2024, at the age of 75. Maggie is predeceased by her husband George Patrick Martin. Maggie is survived by her loving daughters Teresa and her husband Pete Bird, and Eugenia and her husband Bobby Holder. She was proud of her grandchildren Eva Bird, Dara Bird, Brandon Humber, Nicole Humber, Austin Holder, and her great granddaughters Ava and Alia Payne.
Maggie was born in Windsor on August 1st, 1948, to Phyllis and Terence Brady and moved with her sister Mary Brady to Hamilton before settling in Toronto as a family.
Maggie enjoyed working at the Albany Clinic, Toronto as a medical receptionist, where she built many friendships with coworkers and patients. She recently retired after 30 plus years of loyal service.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 4-6pm with a Memorial Service to begin at 6pm at the Giffen-Mack and Trull Chapel, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, Ontario M4C 1L3
