We sadly announce the passing of LORI LYNN TERSIGNI (née Didone) the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 6, surrounded by family at Toronto General Hospital at the age of 61. Born in Sudbury, Lori spent her childhood in Chatham and lived the rest of her life in Toronto, where she was a favourite of colleagues at BCSI, Citibank and Callpro. But central to her life were her loving and devoted husband Frank Tersigni and the six children of whom she was so proud, and vice versa: Adam, Jamie and Arielle (and their loving partners), Alex, Nicholas and Francesca. Lori is also survived by her grandson Max, parents Egidio and Etta Mae Didone, her five brothers and sisters, her mother-in-law Stella, and the rest of the Tersigni family. Lori’s flair for grace under pressure was legendary, and to appreciate her life of laughter and love of family, we could remember a line from one of her favourites, Pasternak’s Doctor Zhivago: “To be a woman is a great adventure.” A visitation will be held at the Trull Funeral Home (2704 Yonge Street, Toronto - 416-488-1101) on Thursday, December 8 from 1-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (24 Cheritan Avenue south of Lawrence Avenue.) on Friday, Dec. 9 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Lori would have been glad if those who mourn her passing would make a donation to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada
