Lola Donald

She is the last member of her family of 10 girls and one boy, and will be welcomed in heaven by her God, her husband Melvin, daughter Dianne, and all her family.

Lola lived a full, varied and adventuresome life. Married at 24, she and Melvin worked in Ethiopia with the Sudan Interior Mission in the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s. Later, in Canada, Lola was very involved in church work and with Pioneer Camps here in Ontario.

Lola was a woman of great faith, a lot of fun, a good sense of humour, and one who showed her love for family and others by her actions.

She will be greatly missed by her children - Stephen (Linda), Shirley (Jim), Grace, Barbara, and by her 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, and by all her nieces and nephews.

To celebrate our mother’s life, a Tea of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, Nov.27, 2-4pm at Barbara’s home - 33 Island Lake Dr, Stouffville. All are welcome.
