Kevin you were a friend and Pal who will be missed you helped alot of people including myself by giving me a pair of brand new winter boots a year ago and I want to thank you again for what you did for me and  I hope you see Carl up there you know he Passed away in January you always helped us when you could it's going to be hard not seeing you each morning going down to Tim's to get a coffee for Cindy at Elfie's and Tea for yourself I'm still in shock that you are gone  I wished that I could of been there to help you that day  I'll always remember you Kevin you might be gone but you'll never  be forgotten my friend from your friend Greg 
       

Kevin,wow!Happiness and sadness comes over me when i think of you,Wow!its been over 25 years ,we met when i was  really young on the streets of Toronto ,we have never had a conflict,humble,proper,pleasant those are just a few of the words that comes to mind when i think of you,,I Am happy we met and was great friends yet i am sad knowing that others will not get the pleasure of knowing you,you sir was a fine person,a respected person and a honest no nonsense human being and you are dearly missed...

For Decades i have left and return back to sherbourne and queen and i  knew that wherever i go and when ever i return i always have a friend for you were always there, when i started campaigning for the mayor of Toronto's Job decades ago you encourage me, when i was angry and outrageous you calm me down and humbled me,,,I am very proud and Honored To be your Friend for life...

Uncle, that is the name we have called you our whole lives, not uncle Kevin but  Uncle and that is because you were the ultimate uncle, the best uncle anyone could ever hope for. We’ve had several uncles but you are the one that has been there throughout our whole lives. We would see you every day since young children to teen years and often since. 

 I am Heartbroken and I feel a huge loss. I just cannot believe that you are gone, so unexpected and wrong. I do feel some comfort knowing that you are with Mom and Aunt Linda resting peacefully in heaven probably enjoying tea and looking down on us all.

I miss you and always will just as I know so many others do too. These past few days I have met dozens of your friends. Friends who have shared with me their stories about how you have helped them in many ways, they spoke of how you saved their lives and not just one person, you’ve saved many. You’ve also guided them, loved them and cared for them. You were a true friend to many.

 I am very proud to be your niece, you have brought a tremendous amount of love to a lot of peoples lives. I am envious of the legacy you have left behind, again as I’m sure many others are envious too.

I cherish the times I would make you a coffee nearly everyday after school before you would teach me math because you were a wizard with math and I just couldn’t grasp it (that was until you taught me). You were patient and a great teacher. I thank you for tricking me to eat a hot pepper from mom’s pepper plant, my mouth and eyes burned and watered so bad, today I do not eat anything without hot sauce. 

Thank you for so many memories. It’s simply not fair or right that you’ve been taken so soon. Our last words to one another were “I love you” and that brings me joy. 

I love you, I miss you, I’m sad and I’m feeling a million different emotions but I will be ok knowing you are resting easy with Mom and Aunt Linda.

Uncle, I am deeply saddened that you are no longer here with us.  Words cannot express the loss I am feeling.
You were such a great Uncle, always there, easy to talk to and always so caring.

Uncle you will truly be missed.  You will never know how much you impacted this world... my world.  You were the only Uncle in our life.  You lived with us most of our childhood and into adolescence. Only 10 years older then me, I guess like a big brother. You were the cool uncle... always there.  Now you won’t be there in person but I know you will be here in spirit.  

I’m hurt and angry that you are no longer here but I’m happy you are now resting in peace and comfort with Mom and aunt Linda. I take comfort knowing you three are now all together... no longer in pain but now in happiness.
