It is with a heavy heart that I announce the sudden passing of my mother Kerry Mary Smith on February 24th, 2023. She took her last breath in the comfort of her own bed in Scarborough.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Fanchon Churcher; partner James Allen.
Kerry was known for being a person who would give you the shirt off her back. She was a devoted friend and an even more devoted mother to her children. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, cousin, aunt, and friend. She will be dearly missed by her children, Margaret, John, Mary and Mark. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Ellen, Charles and wife Maureen, Sandra; cousins Christine and her children Auburee, Athena and family. A memorial service will be held this Friday at Jerrett Funeral Home (660 Kennedy Road) at 12pm in Scarborough followed by a service at 2pm.
