Born November 22, 1932 in Niki, Greece, Katina is predeceased by her parents, Dimitri and Stavroula Gatzos, and is reunited in death with her loving husband, Gus Pappas, and her cherished son, James Pappas.
Katina will be missed by her daughter, Helen Hicks, and her grandchildren Amanda Low, Adam Laszlo (Jamie Hill, predeceased), and Tony Hicks. She was a devoted "Big Baba" to Ava and Terren Low, and Ender Laszlo.
Visitation to be held at Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Rd, Scarborough, on Monday, September 19, 2022 from 9am - 11am. The funeral will be held at 12 noon at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 1385 Warden Ave, Scarborough, followed by interment at Pine Hills Cemetery.
