Mr. John Francis Perry

April 9, 1919 - August 14, 2012

Passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Hospital surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday August 14 in his 93rd year. John was born in Summerside P.E.I. and was the eldest of 13 children. He had 2 sons and 1 daughter with his pre deceased wife Gladys Heckbert. He is also pre deceased by his common-law wife of several years, Lillian LaRose (McEachern).

Loving stepfather to Yvonne (Bonnie) Fillier and husband Wally, Simone Hillier and dearest friend Simon. His presence will be missed by his 16 yr. loving companion.. his fur baby "Puss Puss".

He also leaves behind 2 grandchildren, Ron and Lisa Hillier who will hold his memory deep in their hearts.

Heartfelt gratitude is extended for the compassionate kindness and care provided by the Emergency room staff, Clergy members, Dr. McKenna and associates on Team D, as well as the very "Special" nurses and 14th floor Step up unit staff who made his final days as comfortable and peaceful as possible.

There will be a viewing at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home and Chapel, 467 Sherbourne Street (at Wellesley) on Friday August 17th from 12 - 1:PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service and Traditional Final Address Ceremony from 1 - 2:PM.
