Manley, John Frederick Lewis. Loving husband of the late Margaret Isobel Manley (nee Dawes), peacefully passed away at Aurora Resthaven Nursing Home on May 4, 2013.
He is lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews of the Manley and Dawes families.
He was a founding member of the East York Curling Club, a board member of the Toronto East General Hospital and reciepient of the Ontario Bicentennial medal in 1994 for outstanding citizenship.
Friends and relatives may call at Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Rd. 416-266-4404 (between Eglinton and St. Clair Aves. E.) on Friday, May 10th, 2013, from 10 am to 11 am followed by a memorial service at 11am in the funeral home chapel. Interment of cremated remains will be at St. John’s Norway Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
