Fr. Jack Doyle died peacefully after a brief illness on May 25, 2015 at the René Goupil Jesuit Infirmary in Pickering, Ontario. He was in his 84th year and in his 60th year of religious life. Jack was born at Brewer’s Mills, Ontario, the son of John Edward Doyle and Bridget Theresa Webb. Dear brother of Harold (Jean), Raymond (Maureen) &

Jack attended Regiopolis High School in Kingston. He then entered the Society at Guelph on September 7, 1955. After his ordination on June 3, 1967 at Regis College, Toronto, Jack applied for the missions in Zambia. He served in Zambia as an educator and pastor from 1968 to 2008. When he returned to Canada it was to St. Ignatius Parish in Winnipeg. Jack was a pleasant and agreeable person and people were always willing to cooperate with him. He will be missed by his family and friends and his Jesuit Companions.
Friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, May 26th from 7-9 p.m. at the St. Ignatius Chapel, Manresa Spiritual Renewal Centre, 2325 Liverpool Rd. North, Pickering, ON. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the St. Ignatius Chapel, Manresa Spiritual Renewal Centre. Interment to follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Jesuit Cemetery, 5420 Hwy 6, Guelph, ON.,
