We will miss Joan, her smile and sense of humour at our Weight Watcher Meeting  which she really enjoyed attending.Joan always had something to contribute to the meeting which inspired us all.

RIP Joan. I remember you and your kindheartness from the days at the Post Office. You always had a sarcastic little gesture about what was going on in your corner of the UMO! When I needed a laugh, boy you sure gave me one. I am sad to hear of your passing, but knowing you has been a pleasure. My condolences to your family and to a very special and dear friend Marcie (whom by the way spoke very dearly of you quite recently).

Today my heart hurts and I write this with tears streaming down my face. I have lost a very special lady in my life. Joan has been my kindest, most caring and loyal friend since the early 70's when we met at Canada Post. She had a wonderful spirit about her and made me laugh many times. I loved her out spoken ways and the way she always spoke of her kids with such love. I did get a bit sick of hearing how wonderful SPIKER and KIMMY were! My last visit at her house at Christmas she told me to look in her freezer at all the meals Spiker had done up for her so she never had to cook. She loved her grandkids Jen and Dane and was very happy having two lovely great-granddaughters to brag about. My world will be different now without you Joan but a better place because I was lucky to have had you on my side for many years. RIP my dear friend and I will be sad for now but will smile when I think about our wonderful times together. My sincere condolences to the entire family at this very sad time. GOD BLESS! Marcie
