Joan Marjory Rodriguez

In loving memory of our dear Mother, Grandmother and GG who passed away suddenly at her home on December 26th, 2021. She was the MATRIARCH of the Rodriguez family! Predeceased by her beloved husband Stanley Rodriguez Sr., her son Stuart Randall, and son in-laws Danny and Dave. A proud Mom who will be greatly missed her by daughters Jo-Ann, Suzie, Julie and Jenny (Rob) and by sons Stan (Kathie), Tim (Pam) and Rod. Cherished Gramma of Robert (Nevada), Michelle (Troy), Kristy (Mike), Stevie (Christine), Andrea (Patrick), Mary, Dylan, William, Taylor, Shalane and Stephen. Proud “GG” to her amazing great grandchildren, Berlin, Kansas, Caroline, Lincoln, Chelsea, Reese, Emily, Daniella, Linden, Aubree, and Amiyah. Best friend to Mae Clark and family and her trusted puppy pal Rocky.

Joan had a successful career with the Ontario Government for over 30 years and raised a family of eight at the same time, while also being a second ‘Mom’ to many others. She was adored by her extended family and friends as she had a ‘heart of gold’. She was a graduate of East York Collegiate, active member of the Girl Guides of Canada and an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan and her love for Jeopardy was known by all.

Mom’s integrity, compassion, loyalty and tenderness will be missed by all of those she so graciously touched in her life. There will not be a day that goes by that remembering her love of family as this was ‘everything’ to her. She leaves a legacy of love and will always be in our thoughts and prayers. ♥️

Family and friends wishing to pay their respects may visit the GIFFIN-MACK “DANFORTH” FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE 2570 Danforth Avenue. Visitation: January 1, 2022 (11:00 am to 2:00 pm & 4:00 pm to 6 pm). Private funeral family only. If desired, you can view the funeral live stream via link on Giffin-Mack website. Private cremation. If desired, In lieu of flowers donations to Salvation Army https://salvationarmy.ca/donations/donate-online/ would be greatly appreciated by the family. The family will host a ‘Celebration of Life’ event at a later date.
