HALINA GAWLIK Passed away in hospital after a courageous battle with cancer on September 28, 2011. Beloved daughter of Irene Jugowiec. Loving mother of Darcy, Jenniffer and Michael. Cherished babcia of Jonathan, Evan and Brady. Loving sister of Diane. Halina will be loved and remembered by all of her family and friends. Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Avenue West (1 block east of Dufferin Street), on Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 10:15 a.m. at St. Casimir's Roman Catholic Church, 156 Roncesvalles Avenue. I’m Free

Don’t grieve for me for now I’m free, I’m following the path God has laid for me.

I took His hand when I heard His call and I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work, or play;

Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found the peace at close of day.

If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joys;

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, o’yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life’s been full, I savoured much –

Good friends, good times and loved one’s touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, don’t lengthen it now with undo grief.

Lift up your hearts, and peace to thee, God wanted me now, He set me Free.
