Graham was a good friend, colleague, and correspondent for over 45 years. We met in Montreal in the mid-1970s through McGill University, visited together often in Montreal, and corresponded extensively and regularly while I moved to BC and the UK and he moved to Toronto. I could always count on Graham for engaging letters and phone calls and encouragement when needed. He had an optimistic outlook, showed interest in others, and was interesting himself - a true conversationalist – perhaps one of the keys to his relatively long life. I will miss him greatly. Rest in peace, my good old friend. 

Graham Oliver was my paternal Grandfather; he was always kind to me and remembered my birthday.  He loved to travel and told me stories about his bike riding adventures.  One of my favorite memories was listening to him play piano which he learned when he was a young boy. This last year was difficult, but there was a bright spot to share; the arrival of his Great-grand-daughter, Kate Clarissa.  He will be missed.

I so enjoyed meeting and speaking with my husband's Uncle Graham many years ago. He was such an interesting person and we could have talked for days on any number of topics. He will be missed.
