On August 24, 2010, Grace passed away peacefully at her home in her 98th year. Grace was the loving wife of the late William Briggs Fisher and will be sadly missed by her children William (Dorothy), Gail (the late Donald), Thomas, Ann (Leslie) and Laurence (Victoria). She also leaves behind her grandchildren John, the late Paul, Mark, Carri Lynn, Tamara, Sherry, Troy, Joy, Steven, Christopher and Tracey. She also leaves behind 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great- great-grandchildren. Grace was predeceased by her 11 siblings.
Grace was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the True Kindred, the White Shrine and a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 345 and of the Victoria Park United Church.
A visitation for Grace will be held at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Rd., Scarborough, 416-266-4404, between 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, August 27, 2010. A Funeral Service on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 2 p.m. will take place in the Jerrett Funeral Home Chapel. An interment will follow at Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough.
