Dear Nonno,

I hope you are resting well up there with your loved ones. I love you very much and miss you even more. I will always remember the stories you told me and the memories we shared. Continue to look over everyone and find the strength in each and every one of us when we may not have it. I hope you read the letter I left in your pocket. The Habs play in less than a month and I will continue to be the biggest Habs fan ever. Nonno, I will take care of my dad. We all love you very much.

I will always remember my Zio Peppino as a man with a big heart.  In time of need, be it in sadness, good times or if you just needed an extra hand on a project, he was always the first one there. One thing that has always stuck in my mind is that when me, my sisters and brother were very young children and televisions were just a very new commodity he decided that his sister's kids needed a tv. He bought it and showed up at our house with it. There were very few people in those days that had a tv but we did because of our Zio. That was the kind of person he was and has always been, always giving. That is the way that he will be remembered.

    My sister, brother and I lost our mother at a very young age. It was a difficult time for us but you and your family were always there to provide love and support.  Our mother Ida was your sister and I know she is waiting for you to thank you for everything you have done for us.

     To my aunt Rosa and my cousins I know your pain and my heart goes out to you all at this of sorrow.  

      Zio Peppino my family will miss you and I will miss you very much.
