Gertrude (Gert) passed away peacefully at the Michael Garron Hospital in her 102nd year of life. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon Owen. Lovingly remembered by her four children Doreen, Fred (Linda) John (Bridget) and Colleen Kayama (Glenn); her two grandsons Paul (Tammy) and Ian (Susan), her four great-grandchildren Joshua, Charlotte, Mya and Nathan. Survived by her sister Kathleen Rick and family. Visitation will take place at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home 2570 Danforth Ave. Toronto, Ontario M4C 1L3 (416) 698-3121 on Sunday, November 13th from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. A funeral Service will take place on Monday, November 14th at 11:00 AM at the Giffen-Mack Danforth Chapel. Burial to follow at St. John’s Norway Cemetery. There will be a reception at Giffen-Mack DanforthSecord lounge following the Funeral Servicel. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to any charity of your choice.
