With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Geraldine Ransom at the age of 87. Gerry passed peacefully at home with family and her cat on Wednesday, February the 7th. She is forever in the hearts of her beloved husband of 61 years, Thomas Ransom, their five children; Beverley, John, Catherine, Thomas, and Timothy, and her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. “Tom and Gerry” met as high school students at Jarvis Collegiate. Gerry was a very kind and positive human being and an exceptional artist and story-teller. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday February 17th, at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Avenue, Toronto.
