Peacefully at home on July 9, 2012 in his 80th year. Beloved partner of Dorli Mayerhofer. Much loved father of Greg (Yvonne), Grant (Diane), Geoff, Garth (Fiona) and Nadja (Ron). Devoted grandfather to Elizabeth (Geoff) and Konrad. Gary leaves behind a legacy of perseverance, good humour and generousity to all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and at Gary’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. Donations in Gary’s memory can be made to Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care at Mount Sinai Hospital.
