Always a smile on my buddy. Miss him dearly. Think of him always. All the best to Laurie, Sharon, Tina, Paul, and Mark. The world was a better place when Gary was here.

First of all, condolences to Laurie and Sharon, Paul, Mark and Tina. Gary was a huge part of my childhood. We lived on the same street and were the best of friends at William Burgess and Westwood. Even when he switched schools, we remained friends. I have so many memories flooding in right now, bringing a smile to my face. He always made me smile. He was a sweet, kind, funny guy and I'm glad to have had him in my life. I will hold him dearly in my memories. Too young, never forgotten, until we meet again.

Our deepest condolences to Laurie, Sharon and the family. We are thinking of you during this difficult time.

I am a co-worker of Sharon's. I am a huge fan of the Blue Jay's and Gary knew this. Even before I met him he was giving Sharon memorabilia to give me that he thought I would enjoy having as a Jays fan. He was so right.
 I did get to  meet him at Sharon's wedding, and he was everything I had been told he was; funny, loving, considerate and so much more. 
My condolences to Sharon, Laurie and the rest of the family. May he rest in peace.

I was so privileged to meet Gary in July 2017 and for the next 2-1/2 months while I was in Canada to visit my son Matthew and his partner Natalie and to meet all the Canuck relatives of Natalie.
I can still visualise exactly where I was standing in Linda Doucet’s kitchen when this cheeky, happy, smiling Gary walked excitedly through the door to meet “Matt’s Mum”.
From the very first minute we clicked, our crazy sense of humour, the Canuck and the Aussie.
It was a very special holiday for me, spending a lot of time with Linda and the rest of the gang.
Matt had told me “mum, you’ll love the Canuck family, they’re just like the Campbell Clan” and how right he was/is.
Gary was a ray of sunshine every time I was in his company, along with his beautiful wife Laurie and wonderful daughter Sharon.
How very happy I am that I had the opportunity to meet Gary.
I have a heart full of wonderful memories. 
I can barely come to terms with this huge loss to everyone who knew and loved him.
Gary, I will never forget you, your kindness and warmth and acceptance of my son Matthew into your family and for sharing your generous spirit of heart with my daughter Julie and I while we were there in Canada.
My heart breaks for all of your beloved family.

I have lost one of my best friends. He will be terribly missed, all of the life memories that we made together in Myrtle Beach, and in Pennsylvania. I miss my OLDER Brother! Hahaha rest in peace Brother

Oh boy. Where do I start? I met Gary at work. Our friendship over the years was one that books are written about. I know his wfe and daughter very well.  I could even write a book about our many holiday and golf experiences. I was blessed enough to have spent four days with Gary just before he passed. The term brother from another mother held true for our relationship. No offense to Paul and Mark. There is now a hole in my life that cannot be filled. The first time we went on a golf vacation together we went to Pennsylvania. My uncle lived there and we returned the day before 9/11. Its something we talked about often. I wont go on and on about stories we had but there were many. On one of our trips to Myrtle Beach we came up with a nick name for him that stuck. Its not family friendly so I wont share it but it stuck and he was proud of it. Gary I love you. Always have, always will. See you up there. Hold a seat for me at the table with Dave, James, Uncle Neil, my dad, your wonderful parents one day Ill see you again my friend. This Buds for you!
