Emilio José Ruiz

Passed away in Toronto on January 16, 2013 in his 69th year.

Beloved husband of Maria Ruiz. Loving father of Christian Ruiz (Sumika), Vanessa Ruiz, Francis Ruiz and family. Cherished grandfather of Ryoko and Javier Ruiz. Dear brother of Oswaldo Ruiz, Coco Ruiz, Teresa Ruiz and families. Dear brother-in-law of Maria Eugenia “Kuki”, Miriam, Rosa, Carmen, Pilar, and Isabel. Predeceased by his brothers Carlos Ruiz, Ernesto Ruiz, Oscar Ruiz and by his sister Maruja Ruiz. Uncle of Cesar, Richard, Juan and family, Miriam Elena, Marcos and José, Oswaldo Jr. Ruiz and Ernesto Ruiz. Son-in-law of Antero and the late Mami Carmen. Emilio will be fondly remembered by Kunio, Toshiko and Shiho Takahashi, and Isao and Yoshi Narita, and by his many friends, family and co-workers both in Canada and Peru.

He will be greatly missed by Niña Ruiz.

Friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home "North York Chapel", 6191 Yonge St. North York (south of Steeles Ave.) on Friday, January 18, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at St. Augustine of Canterbury Roman Catholic Church, 80 Shoreham Drive, North York. Private Cremation to follow.
