It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Elmer Richard Brillantes on October 23, 2024, at the age of 66. He was the dear son of Francisco and Frances; lovingly referred to as “Boyette” by his siblings Aida, Francisco, Mita, Sonny, Bob, Dennis, Alex, Ruby, and Jeff; the fun Tito to all of his nephews and nieces; a most reliable brother-in-law; devoted husband to Katherine and step-father to her children; proud father of Elmer Ben Jr. (and in-law to his wife, Kelly), Jacqueline, and Celine; and adoring grandpa of Cady, Cleo, and Elmer III.
He also leaves behind his many friends in the St. Jamestown community and his friends from the Legion — people he helped, laughed with, played basketball with, golfed with, and sang his heart out with.
Visitation will be held at Rosar Morrison (467 Sherbourne St.), on November 2, 2024, from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. This will be followed by cremation in accordance with Elmer’s wishes.
