I was just thinking about her, and wanted to phone, and this is what I discovered. Elizabeth was such a lovely lady. We net her through my sister's friend, and I think she did everyone's taxes in the family, but one, and many of my friends as well! I loved our visits, and her calm, reassuring manner. I always saved my stamps for her. I will still think of her with each stamp that I remove from an envelope, but now I don't know where to take them.
Nice to read so many great words about her! We all knew she loved Guiding,  all her friends there * and elsewhere too) were very special. I think most of her clients became friends to her. And now Harold is gone too.  They had such love, and were an inspiration.

Brownies/mothers and Mrs. Wynne at Piper Hill Mother/Daughter Brownie Camp, September of 1988 with the 50th Toronto Brownies.  We had a good time at camp.  Mrs. Wynne was kind-hearted and spent her life helping girls.   

Beth was my Guider when I was  a newbie leader with the 50th Guides at the Simpson Avenue church in Riverdale.  She inspired me then and still does today more than 20 years later.  Beth’s commitment and enthusiasm was extraordinary and made the Guide organization flourish.  In her long Guiding career she had a huge positive impact on thousands of girls and women.  My condolences to her family, her friends and her fellow Guiders. 

We have such wonderful memories of Aunt Beth- listening to all the trips her and Uncle Sonny went on, looking after us, visiting us and celebrating Christmas at her house. Such a wonderful woman. Our hearts and love go out to you Uncle Sonny and Wilma and family. 

Sending our deepest condolences.  Both our daughter's, Laura and Grace,  participated in Guides for years, attending weekly and also going to camp, particularly loving Doe Lake.  Grace went on to be a Camp Counsellor and then volunteer.  Beth was the heart and soul of their Guiding experience, teaching them to be capable, resourceful, caring and team focused, valuable attributes in life.  Beth's commitment and kindness is unmatched.  She was truly a remarkable women, the best in every way.   So sorry for your loss.... Alice & Gerry 

Beth was my daughter's girl guide leader for many years.  And I worked with her on one of her volunteer church bookkeeping projects.  She was dedicated in everything she did and had a huge positive impact on many girls's lives.  I will miss her.  

Harold I am so sorry to know Beth has left us and is with God. Thanks Beth for welcoming me to Riverdale Presbyterian church on 2nd Sunday of June 2011. Beth welcome me and my sister Annette and from that day onwards Riverdale Church has been my peaceful  place where I go to understand the words of God and Jesus. It is with great sadness that i heard of  my Aunt Beths  passing . She was a wonder person and will greatly be missed by family and friends  i was happy to be able to visit her and uncle sonny before covid came.  My sincere condolances to the rest of the family.

I was a trainer with Beth for many years.   She was a delight to work with.    She was generous with the use of her house for our training meetings.    I wish I could be there at the celebration of her life, but I will be unable to attend.    I will cherish the memories of my time with her and will miss her very much.    My sincere condolences to her Husband and family.

Harold I am so sorry that you have to go on alone.  I know how much Beth wanted to be there for you, but she was called away.  I am sure she will watch over you and welcome you, when you meet again. We will all miss her so much, but know that she will always be in our hearts.
Cap thanks for all that you have shared with me both in and out of Guiding.  I am so glad that I was enrolled into the 50th Toronto Guide Company.  I’m so grateful for the opportunities you gave me to travel the world and meet new friends.  You were a blessing to everyone who knew you and especially me. 
Today would be your 87th birthday and as I told you a year ago today… Whether you knew it or not you are loved by thousands of women, young and old. You have given so much to the world around you. Cap you are a very special lady. You taught us all to leave a place better than you found it, and that you surely have done.

Harold Wilma & Family I’m so sorry for your loss I’m deeply saddened by her passing. I first met this beautiful lady 50+ yrs ago when I got curios to see what was going on in this church just down the way from my house where she let me see and later told I could join this group of girls every Wednesday night if I wanted and it wasn’t long after I did.There wasn’t a time where she wasn’t fixing me up from some accident I’d had 😂 which earned me 1/2 a nickname and my sister the other the accident prone Lim sisters. She came to my bridal shower wedding and the funeral of my son she was always there for me She even came for tea with our quarter master from England Aunt Marg because of her I have made some lifelong friends 
Cap I will always love you and will miss you ❤️

Our deepest condolences go out to Harold, Wilma and family.  I first met Cap over 50 years ago, she was my Girl Guide Captain at the 50th Company held at Simpson Avenue United Church. Cap has been a mentor and friend to me. She will be missed immensely and the fond memories of Guiding, camping and friendship will live on. RIP Cap.

Wilma Phil and family you have my deepest sympathy  .So many fond memories have gone through my head since I heard the news.  Beth was a very good friend to my family .as well as being my Guiding sister .Will always remember her with much love and respect  Margaret
