Eleanor Jeanne Kavanagh

Peacefully at Providence Healthcare Houses of Providence on Monday October 12th, 2015 after a full life at the age of 94.

Predeceased by her parents Basil (Barney) Holden and Jeanne (Van Assche) and brothers Richard, Frank and John Holden.

Loving wife for 63 years of James d. 2008, devoted mother of Elaine d. 2003 (William Copeland), James (Barbara Midgley), Celia, Christine (John Stafford), Cathleen (Paul Irish), Lawrence, David d. 2006 and Brian (Nancy Joyce). Delighted in her grandchildren Amy Lee (Perry), Jamie Copeland (Erica Griffin), Laura Copeland (Jim Cavanagh), Jeff (Trish Orr) Teri (Mike Horgan), Doug (Heather Lannigan), Claire (Allan Richards), Marion Stafford, Katherine (Kevin Fry), Ellen Stafford, Paul Irish, Sean Irish, Patrick Irish and Kelly Irish, Alexandra (Chris Burke) Annie, and Tom, Lisa (Steve Ross), David (Aileen Robertson) and Danny and especially delighted in her great-grandchildren Colin and Brianna Lee; Leah and Cael Copeland; Declan and Cashel Cavanagh; Jacob, Gabe, James, Benjamin, John and Joseph Kavanagh; Colin, Katherine, Thomas and James Horgan; Luke Kavanagh; Lily and Violet (anticipating baby #3) Richards; Sean and Luke Fry; Noah Kavanagh.

With special thanks to all of her caregivers at Providence over the past six years.

Visitation at the Trull Funeral Home, 2704 Yonge Street, Toronto (south of Lawrence Avenue at Alexandra Blvd.) on Monday October 19 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday October 20 at 1:00 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 24 Cheritan Avenue, Toronto (one block south of Lawrence Avenue).
