Loving mother of John (Kathy), Jane (Jeff), and Doug (Cecilia), grandmother to Christopher (Stephanie), Ashley (Aldo), Aeron, and Katherine (Niko), and great grandmother to Jason and Natalie. She will also be missed by her sister Betty.
Predeceased by her husband Alan, her siblings Douglas and Isabel.
She was a devoted member of Willowdale Presbyterian. Doris will also be remembered as an excellent cook and baker, famous for her butter tarts, she was an accomplished knitter. Her most cherished passion was being a devoted Nana.
Visitation will be held on Saturday February 4, 2023 from 9:30-10:30 am at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street in North York. Funeral Service will follow at 10:30 am. Following services in the chapel a committal service will take place at Westminster Cemetery.
