It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Dolores Elaine Luek-Williams on November 30, 2023 with her family by her side. Dolores was born in Moruga, Trinidad on October 29, 1938. The eldest daughter of the late Edgar Luke and the late Edna Florence Palmer. She was a loving mother to Kathleen Dawn Luke, sister to June Joachim and Angela Gloria Parks, aunt to many, a wonderful cousin, and friend to many .
Her kindness, generosity and youthful spirit endeared her to all who knew her. Nothing meant more to her than being surrounded by family and friends as often as possible. Her apartment was the spot for all occasions including Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, marriages, birthdays and anytime lime.
Dolores was an accomplished administrator who worked at CN Rail for over twenty-five years until her retirement in 1993. Her love of people and generosity of spirit led her to volunteer and later work with Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Toronto until retirement in 2003. She remained active in her community and participated in the Waterfront Neighbourhood Community Centre activities.
As we mourn the loss of her, we find comfort in the countless memories she leaves behind. Her love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to family will forever serve as a guiding light in all that knew her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
