Nous venons tout juste d'apprendre la triste nouvelle et sommes sous le choc.  Nous espérions toujours avoir l'opportunité de revoir Denise et vous deux un jour...  Raymond et moi gardons un doux souvenir de nos rencontres, et Denise était une femme merveilleuse et agréable à côtoyer.  Nous ne pouvons qu'imaginer la douleur de ce départ beaucoup trop hâtif pour toi et Kevin .  Vous êtes tous les deux dans nos pensées et prières.

I reiterate Brenda's comments of our families enjoying the Christmas holidays together.   

Aunt Denise kindly baked a zucchini bread loaf for a get together a few years ago and my kids devoured it... we are sure no one else had a bite of that loaf.  We are glad we have her recipe and she will be in our thoughts whenever we bake and enjoy it. 

Finally, I am grateful to have had Aunt Denise as godmother (and Uncle Emery as godfather).  I could not find a photo of the three of us at my baptism but am happy to share this photo of Aunt Denise, Uncle Emery and my daughter, Victoria, at her baptism.  

Rest in peace, Aunt Denise.

Dear Emery and Kevin, 
I  am so sorry for your loss - what terrible news. Denise was really special.  She was the most hardworking daycare provider - both my girls had such great care in your home. Et en français en plus! Quelle chance pour moi de l’avoir rencontrée comme ça dans le quartier -  je n’aurai pas pu en trouver une meilleure! She was there for us: when we were going to hospital to deliver our 2nd, she took care of our first at night.  I usually keep an eye out for her walking around the neighborhood and am so sad to know why I have not seen her lately and that I won’t be running in to her anymore.
She loved you both so much and took pride in your family as well as in all that she did.  She was a force to be reckoned with.   
Bon courage Emery et Kevin. She will be missed.

I remember the first time I saw Denise, she was so beautiful. I was a little girl and you just return from getting married and return home for the cerebration with the family. A beautiful and very happy couple, it was magical. Denise was always very bubbly and she had a wonderful laugh, one that comes from the heart. Memories are very important and we will hold on to them forever. 

I would like to express my most sincere condolences, to Emery, Kevin and also the Frenette family. Losing a love is the most difficult things in one’s life. Know that God is with you and will help you heal through this difficult time. Our prays are with you.

        As Denise's niece, I think of Denise fondly and have many   memories of her especially from my childhood. Some of my favorites are of the Christmas holidays as young children with our family (Bob and Florine Harvey's) and Aunt Denise and Uncle Emery and then Kevin. We would celebrate Christmas Day at one house and New Year's Day  at the other for many years. With all the good food, and company it was a full day event. It is kind of fitting my  final memory of Aunt Denise was this past Christmas Day with her waving and smiling from her porch along side Uncle Emery. She was always glad to see family.
       I also think of Aunt Denise as the east coast version of the "energizer bunny"! She had more energy then anyone I know, whether it was cooking, providing childcare for young children she cared for or out on a walk, she was always on the go with a smile and ready for friendly chat.  For someone who did not drive nothing held her back from providing the best care and experiences for the children she cared for and Kevin. 
      Plus Aunt Denise was tough - she wouldn't back down from any conversation, especially with my dad (Bob). They would challenge each other in conversation and go on in depth as they both had the "gift of the gab". 
      Uncle Emery and Kevin our hearts go out to you during these difficult times. Our deepest condolences. Please know we are near and thinking of you.

When i got married my sister Denise and her husband Emery invited me and my husband to spend a week at her house in Toronto. 
She guide us thru Toronto and made a schedule for us to visit almost all the attraction Toronto has to offer.
Just before we were to leave she told us she was pregnant with Kevin.....Denise we will miss you....Emery and Kevin we love you....

Denise was my little sister .We are a big family  and she was one in the middle .She first went to Toronto with me and my husband.We moved to NB but Denise and Emery stayed there..We talked a lot on the phone before she was sick.I will miss our long talks.... Our family will miss our talks with our neighbour Denise. Our thoughts and condolences go out to Emery and Kevin. 

Denise was always out walking and provided support to her neighbours over the years. Following her daycare days, she would take our twin toddlers out for a few hours each week to the park. This gave me a bit of free time and breathing space and I will always cherish how she was great with children and helped me out so much! 

Denise was meticulous with her flowers, hedge and lawn. It always looked so lovely and well loved. We will miss you!

Denise was a wonderful neighbor, she was constantly working hard on keeping her home looking neat and tidy no matter what the season.  She always kept on eye on things going on and that helped make me feel safe.  You never knew where you'd run into Denise, she was an avid walker all over the neighborhood,  you would regularly run into her most places you went shopping and she'd happily chat about a recipe she wanted to try.

I have lovely memories of when Denise provided much sought after French language pre-school daycare for babies and toddlers....there always seemed to be merriment going on with Denise and her babies on her front porch!  Other times she'd bundle and load them all up in her  multi-child stroller and off they'd go rain or shine to have fun somewhere.  The parents seemed to really appreciate her care for their children and she often spent time listening to them and helping them work through childhood behaviour issues together....it wasn't just a job for Denise, she was participating in raising these children.  So heartwarming.

My deepest condolences to Emery and Kevin on their loss.  May Denise Rest In Peace, she will be sadly missed in the neighborhood.
