David was born July 15, 1938, and had a wonderful and full life. David was the President and Owner of Albany Pump Company, and took great pride in being the architect of many pump designs for the company over many decades.

He was passionate about his Family, tennis, biking, and wind surfing. He enjoyed travel to places like Aruba, Costa Rica, & North Carolina where he could participate in these activities.

David was very charismatic & charming, with a rich sense of humour and was skilled at story telling.He had a flare for life; people were always drawn to his rich and full personality.

David is the much loved Father of Susan M. Bennet and Tracy M. Bennet, Grandfather to Rachael Hunter, Emma Hunter and David Ian Hunter. Deeply loved Bother of Richard Bennet (predeceased) and Judith Giffen (nee Bennet), proud Uncle to Steven Bennet, Andrea Bennet, Craig Bennet, Christopher Bennet, Dale Giffen, and Trevor Giffen. Predeceased by his loving parents Dorothy Margaret Bennet and John Stanley Bennet, and Wife, Michaeline Bennet (nee Mandziak).

We are comforted in knowing that David is reunited with his Mother, Father, Wife and Brother.

There will be a Covid-19 guideline-restricted service on Saturday January 15, for immediate family members only. There will be a Celebration of Life for David in July when we hope we can all safely gather to share stories of his momentous life. Location, time and date to be determined.
