I was with Cody at the end.   At St. Mikes.  I didn’t even know he was in hospital til his friend Pat called me that day.     Pat said he needed a friend to help Cody on his journey.   Read at his funeral & was at his burial.   My  family met Cody when he would come by the hood ( Summerhill , Toronto ) with Pat and do odd jobs.    Cody was a lovely person.   I’m grateful to have met him and hear his wisdom.    He smudged my house before my Dad moved in and again after he passed.   Miss you Cody.   Hope you’re taking care of Pat &

It was so long since I had seen Cody,growing up with him was the best he always looked out for me and for that I will always remember and love Cody, 
I remember going to his wedding as well as when he had his first child.
I grew up with Cody in the Lenting family,  and to me he was and always will be me brother,
Whenever he was down on his luck he would always look me up,and for that I was always and truly grateful, I have always had people if I had been in touch and wondering where he lived, sometimes I knew but sometimess I didnt,but that was Cody and always a very loving and giving man,would help anyone he could

We were best friends and he has left a huge impression on me and many others who's lives he touched.

I've been looking for you Cody for a long long time, sorry it had to be like this. You were my best friend growing up and I'll always remember the time we spent playing in the bush, road hockey and baseball and later cruising on Friday nights. Even though its been over forty years I always hoped we could reconnect and if we could I would've told you that you were never forgotten and often thought of. Sadly missed, never forgotten.

This is Cody's full legal name.  Cody was his middle name.  Elwood is his first name. Elijah- Brown are his last names.  
Ellington Elijah was his was father and Carrie Brown was his mother.
He has three children.  My daughter Brittany Brown.  His boys (from his marriage) Kevin and Adam Brown.
