Kit lived a full and rich life, and had amazing and interesting children. It's hard to imagine her not being there but she really does live on in all of you and the people she has touched over many years.

I am sorry to hear about your mother’s death. I used to live on Elma street in Mimico and was a close friend to your cousin, Tom Lawrence.  He always spoke warmly of his Aunt Kit.

I was glad to have had the pleasure of meeting your Mum at Thanksgiving in Cape Breton a couple of years ago. She was certainly game and enjoyed a full life.  I am sorry for the void her passing will make and that the many memories of a life well lived will provide you comfort. Take care.

I was a friend of Kate's in high school and then at your Mom's urging Kate called me in Calgary years later. Kate and I enjoyed a short, long distance friendship again.
When we were kids, your Mom always welcomed me into her very busy household with that lovely smile of hers. she was always so kind, and she had a great sense of humor.
