Dear loved ones of

Calvin;

I was recently added to Calvin's life in January 2018
I was called into the Hospital in Peterborough, On by Lori to 
assist Calvin with his Foot Care.  As a Foot Care Nurse I was able to 
clear up some of the problems  in 14 months, but more than that ; I met a 
good hearted man; who loved his family and talked about you in such 
a fatherly way ,a caring  family man. Calvin had a special inner peace about 
life and living it for others.   He was so calm and kind, even when I 
was not having a good day; he was there for me too.  What a treasure; 
Calvin was a true blessing to my life in a short time;  he was sharing about how
things can happen and he wanted to have peace that you; his family;  would 
have that peace too.  
I want to give you my heartfelt condolences for your loss,  but I also 
I celebrate his peace made forever in his eternal home 

Calvin, just loved when I arrived at Dixon shelter for the Street Health Nursing clinic to see that you were on. You were gentle, so respectful with the man and I loved your smile and sense of humour. My condolences to friends and family. 

Cal is an amazing gentle kind  soul. He always had a calmness around him that I was envious of! Cal and I worked many a shift together at Seaton House in the Annex program , and he was absolutely fanstastic with the residents.  Heaven has gained one chill, kind, loving spirit . RIP 

Calvin was a gentle spirit working calmly with the homeless community at 30 St. Lawrence Shelter in the 1990's, working in tandem with his colleagues.  I can see him in my mind's eye admitting men for the night and calming and reassuring those that needed it. 

 Other times I would meet and see Calvin in the day time either at the shelter or Dixon Hall as we discussed needs at the shelter.  He was never overly aggressive,  but would clearly and articulacy state needs of the shelter residents.

Cal was my dear friend.  I just fiund out of his passing. My heart is broken..
He is such a good man. He did a ceremony at my daughters sweet 16th.
He and his son's built a basketball court in my backyard for my autistic son..
He always refuses to accept any payment... I have so many little gifts from him.. He was always requesting my oxtail.. I really love this gentle man.
He is my spiritual brother..
Fyi: The little sign was given to me by Cal 8yrs ago for my garden. ..
