Brian passed away peacefully on June 22nd, 2016, with his family by his side.
Brian had just celebrated his 64th birthday. He was predeceased by his parents, Pamela and Gérard, his sister Charmian, his parents-in-law Ross and Rosa (Mabe), and his sister-in-law Marie. Left to remember him with much love are his wife Ginny, brothers John and Laurence, sisters Beverly and Marie, and brothers-in law David, Nabil and Rick and sister in-law Jill; eleven nieces and nephews, a host of great-nieces and nephews, his extended Poisson family, as well as many colleagues, neighbours and friends.
Husband, brother, uncle, ever energetic friend and neighbour, lawyer, philosopher; Brian was also a lifelong sponsor of countless “at risk” children through World Vision - often 4 and 5 at a time. With his ever inquiring mind and John Wayne like stature, Brian lived life to the fullest and challenged others to do the same. We will all remember him with love and affection and, no doubt, with a story or two. He will live forever in our thoughts and in our hearts!
A commemoration service to celebrate Brian’s life will be held at Little Trinity Anglican Church, 425 King Street East, Toronto, on July 28, 2016, at 2 pm with a reception to follow.
As would be Brian’s wish, in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in his memory to World Vision, or to another charity of your choice.
