Branko Jovanovich

April 19, 1933 – December 6, 2010

Went to be with the Lord at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Dimitra, loving father of Emily and Thane (Tina), proud grandfather of Sarah and Andrew. He will be greatly missed by his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree, member of the Canadian Society of Laboratory Technologists, and member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists in Cytopathology. Worked at the Toronto General Hospital for almost 30 years. Active in the community and a conscientious Public School Board Trustee of Ward 2 for the City of York (9 years). Branko enjoyed singing, photography, gardening, reading, and travel. The compassion of the Toronto Western staff was appreciated. Visitation will be at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Avenue West (1 block east of Dufferin Street) on Wednesday,

December 8, from 2-4 & 6-9pm. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 10:30am at Saints Constantine and Helen Church, 1 Brookhaven Drive, Toronto 416-241-2470.
