Passed away peacefully in her sleep at St. Michael’s Hospital. Lovingly remembered by her partner Al Emid, her sister Catherine Coyle, brother-in-law Terence Coyle and nephew John Paul Coyle. Ann will be deeply missed by the parishioners at St. Basil’s Catholic Parish, her neighbours and the staff at Manulife Centre and all those she encountered in her life. Ann began her teaching career in 1965 and touched the lives of countless children through the years. She shared her love of music with everyone she knew and always had an optimistic outlook on life. Ann loved to travel especially back to her home country of Scotland. She always had a smile on her face for everyone she passed. Ann’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of St. Michael’s Hospital. Friends may visit on Thursday, May 26 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. At the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel, 467 Sherbourne St. Toronto, ON. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 27 at 2 p.m. at St. Basil’s Catholic Parish, 50 St. Joseph St. Toronto, ON. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
