Born in Krokees, Sparta, Greece, on November 22, 1933, Anastasia (Aggelakou) Asimakopoulos passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, October 31, 2022, at the age of 88 years old. She immigrated to Canada in 1960 following her marriage to Georgios Asimakopoulos, where they built a beautiful life filled with love, happiness, celebration, and the birth of their two children and grandchildren. She is predeceased by her loving husband, who she is reunited with now.
Dearly loved mother of Lisa (Gino) Gallo and Patty (Louie) Cristello. Beloved by her grandchildren, Stephanie Cristello, Samantha (Curtis) Cristello-Lush, and James Gallo, who will always cherish their Yiayia. Her family would like to deeply thank the Hellenic Home for the wonderful care and love they provided during her stay there.
She will be deeply missed and remembered by her family and friends. A private service will honor her life for immediate family.
