Peacefully in her sleep on Dec 29th, 2015, Alice departed this world to be with her first husband Bill, son Michael, sister Eileen and her parents Pat & Nellie Devlin. She will also be reunited with her second husband, George Wilson.
At 89 years young, Alice was very witty and a great teller of jokes that provided laughter and entertainment for her many friends and loved ones.
With a talent for writing poetry (approximately 250), Alice proudly received the World of Poetry Award for her Terry Fox poem. She also wrote poems that were enjoyed by her family and friends.
With a kind heart and an infectious laugh, Alice was always concerned about the wellbeing of others.
She will be sadly missed by her dear friends Derek, Tony and Linda and her dog Paddy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3rd, 2015 from 3-6pm at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel, 467 Sherbourne St. (South of Wellesley St.) Toronto. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 4th at 10:30 at St Basil's Church, 50 St Joseph St, Toronto; cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Schizophrenia Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
