Our Mother was a quiet dignified woman. She always had a smile for everyone. She accepted you for who you were and worked within those boundaries.
A couple of weeks before her death, I could see she was giving up a little with her health struggles. I said "Please keep strong like you always have been." She replied, "I am just an ordinary woman" and I answered "No you are an extraordinary woman!" She gave me a little smile.
She was the glue that kept us together and now the glue is gone.
P.S. Diane and Andrea wish you a great journey!
You were a real parent and loved.
