William G Jaques, age 74, of Seaside Heights, New Jersey passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Bill had lived in Berkley, Michigan before he moved to Seaside Heights 20 years ago. Bill was a United States Marine serving in Vietnam as a Gunner 1st Battalion 7th Marine Unit Suicide Charlie.
Bill worked in the Maintenance Department at the Berkley High School for many years until moving to NJ Bill had worked in Construction on the Seaside Boardwalks. Bill then began working at the Seaside Hardware Store, Seaside Heights. Lifelong member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 9222 Berkley, MI.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, William and Madeleine Jaques, his sister Teresa Jaques and brother John Jaques. He is survived by his (twin) sister Ellen Jaques-Mullin, and his three nieces, Kellie Jaques, Becky Nesfeder, Sarah (Jaques) Methner and her husband Troy. Bill was also survived by his two great nieces Kayla Wilson and her significant other Tyshawn Stanford Sr., and her father Melvin Wilson, Keagan Boyer, his two great nephews John Fortune and his wife Esther, Devin Jaques and his fiancee other Rebecca Smith, his great great nieces and nephew, Faith Cook and her father Eli Cook, Tyshawn Stanford Jr., (TJ), Amina Jaques, his sister in law Nancy Jaques Olson and her husband Mike, his cousins, Patricia, Debbie, Frank (Karen) Albrecht and their families, Dorieann Bourke and her sons, Martha (Marty) and her husband Keith Buchanan and families, Sarah (Sally) Forster, Robert Forster (Marlene -deceased) and families, William Forster and his wife Suanne and families, Patricia Forster and families, John Forster , Michael Forster and his wife Jeannette and families, Janice Forster(Jerry-deceased) and families, James Forster and his wife Cathy and families, Mary Forster Tebow (deceased), Ann Forster, William (Bill) Hiering and his wife Victoria (Vicki) and families, Christie (Hiering) Beatty and her husband David and family, Robert (Bob) Hiering and family, Carol Hiering, Tony Hiering, Margaret (Peggy Steigerwald) McGarry and her husband Joe, Tom Steigerwald, John Steigerwald, Reverend Thomas McGann, Pat McGann and family, his friends, Frank Carline, Christine Carline, Kathy Carline Grugel and her husband Ted and families, Elaine Stafford Seaman and families, Mark and Jane, Al and Ann, Art and Sue Douglas, Jerry and Penny Chandler, Kimberly (Kim) Ptak and families and Amanda Lear.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 11, 2022 10 am at St. Maximillian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River followed by inurnment at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
