Wendy graduated Toms River High School in 1968, and in 1972, earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Literature from Nasson College in Springvale, Maine. Following graduation Wendy moved to Florida for several years before returning to Toms River in 1974.
Growing up on the Toms River and Barnegat Bay, Wendy enjoyed sailing with the Toms River Yacht Club, swimming and water skiing as well as the beautiful beaches of the Jersey shore.
In addition, Wendy enjoyed cooking, volunteer work, travel abroad, reading, shopping, fine dining, generations of music- but mostly she loved being a mother and loved the holidays and family gatherings.
With blue skies above and the sun shining on the river, bay and beach, Wendy loved watching the boats while sitting in the New Jersey summer sun.
A celebration of Wendy’s life is planned for June at Island Beach State Park.
