Still missing my good friend Walter Vera, especially on karaoke nights where he always sang beautifully on every song. always loved seeing him walk through the door at Legion Post 166 on my Country Night with his Wife and Daughters which he loved so much! We will never forget him!!  Warren Barney

Walter was a joy to chat with at karaoke.  Plus, he fast sang very well.  The crowd loved him.  I will miss him and Miriam.  Glen Squirt.

I'll miss Walter at different locations especially at Friday Country nights at Post 166 singing karaoke! He knew I liked him singing "Tennessee Whiskey" and he would make a point of doing it for me!

To the Vera Family-

I worked with Walter for the last 4 years and it was truly  a pleasure!  Walter was willing to teach and educate anyone willing to learn.  He  was knowledgeable and wanted to share every morsel of information he possibly could with the staff.  

 Walt was full of life, love and laughter.  He expressed how much he loved his family and how very proud he was of them all.  Often times, I felt as if I knew his family personally, just from his stories.  He was always upbeat,  smiling,  singing, dancing and talking about karaoke and vacation. He would visit and bring goodies to the office and we'd give him a hard time if he ever dared to come without.    We will miss the way your personality and smile lit the room!

Walt, my dear friend, I pray for you to rest easy, continue to smile and know that you will always be remember in our hearts.

Walter & I would be in the same MAX class at times. I just remember him to be very pleasant & always smiling. I pray he's resting in peace & that his family have peace also. God Bless.

To Walt's beloved family and friends,

 I was lucky enough to work with Walt for the last 2 years and always looked forward to when he would come into the office. He always came in with a huge smile on his face, dancing and telling us we should hear and see him sing karaoke. He lit up the room when he came in. He would always ask me where "the good stuff" was, which meant he wanted to pick his favorite candy and fill his pockets! These are memories that will bring a smile to my face whenever I think of him.

I hope that you find some comfort in knowing how much Walt was admired and will be missed. He had so much knowledge in regards to his job and would never hesitate to share that knowledge if you had a question. 

He so loved his family and always spoke of you all with such pride and a huge smile on his face that radiated the love he had for you. 

May you forever rest in peace Walt, You will be missed more than you know.

I worked with Walt for the past 8 years and what it pleasure it was!  He was always upbeat, singing, dancing and always happy.   He was also very good at his job and loved to share his knowledge  to those who seeked his advise.

My memories of Walt will be of him laughing, dancing and talking about his family, whom you could tell he loved so much.

May  you have the same memories along with the many, many wonderful attributes that made Walt such an awesome person.
