Virginia J. Calderone, 78, of Tuckerton, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin. Born in Newark, she resided in Bridgewater and Cream Ridge, moving to Tuckerton 10 years ago. Virginia was parishioner of St. Theresa Church in Tuckerton and a member of the choir. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family, bowling, gardening and cooking.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony in 1995. Surviving are her sons, Robert and his wife Mona, Michael and his wife Jennifer and Richard; her daughters, Judy Favia and Jean Calderone; 18 grandchildren and 4 cherished great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home in Toms River. A prayer service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Orange.
