

Salvatore B. Vicari, 94, of Berkeley Twp., died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He was born in Rosenhayn, NJ, lived in Rutherford for most of his life before moving to Berkeley Twp 27 years ago. Mr. Vicari was a presser in the garment district, NYC, NY for 40 years, retiring in 1983. He was an Army veteran of WWII, member of the V.F.W. Post 8352, and a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Berkeley Twp.
Mr. Vicari is predeceased by his wife Grace in 1996. Surviving are his children Vivian, Ellen & Anita, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and his brother Vincent.
Visiting will be Tuesday June 1, 2010, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River. A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday June 2, 2010, 10:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church, Berkeley Twp. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Mausoleum, Paramus, NJ.
