I worked with Sal at Schuyler Colfax for many years. We played volleyball, and enjoyed many school parties together with the Schuyler group. He was a special friend and will be missed by many. RIP my friend.

I worked with Sal when I first started teaching art in Wayne.  He was always so kind and reassuring.  I will always remember him and miss seeing him again.

I remember Sal as the Art teacher who came to Terhune Elementary School to inform students regarding the gifted Art program at Schuyler. He was a warm, caring, talented person who will be missed. My thoughts go out to you.

I was very sad to hear of your passing.  I wish to express my sympathy to your family. You added class,humor and color to the district art department.

I am so, so sorry to hear about Sal`s passing.  We were art teacher partners at Schuyler for about 30 years.   Unfortunately, my son, Steven, who Sal knew, passed away last Monday, so I will be unable to attend.    Please know that I loved Sal, and always appreciated his kindness and calming influence on me during our teaching days.

Every time I saw Sal he was so sweet and gentle. I'm so sorry for your loss but he's with the Father now.  May his family be comforted.

Sal always had smile on his face and an art brush in his hand.  He was such good friend, teacher and person.  Our sympathy is with his family and to all of us who have known Sal, but we must remember,  he is at peace and will always be a part of our lives and all of his many students art classes.
