Sadie R Guarino

Sadie R. Guarino (nee Pezzino) of Toms River, formerly of Montclair, NJ passed away peacefully at home on February 4th, 2015 surrounded by family and caregivers. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph and siblings Salvatore Pezzino, Don Pezzino, Joseph Pezzino, Concetta Bertino, Eleanor Pisciotti and Yolanda Coates. She and Joe owned a grocery store in Newark until 1970 and afterwards she proudly passed her civil service exam and worked for the DMV in Wayne, NJ. She is survived by her 5 children Maryann Adubato and husband John, Dr. Ralph Guarino and wife Anne, Dr. Vito Guarino and wife Ann, Dr. Susan Guarino and Dr. Joseph Guarino and wife Debbie, sister Teresa Metsopulis, 14 grandchildren Dr. Donna Bischoff, Danielle Guarino, Denise Adubato, Laura Adubato, Lisa Margeson, Vickie Berg, Nicholas Guarino, Suzanne Guarino, Christina Guarino, Vincent Guarino, Steven Guarino, Brittany Guarino, Alyssa Guarino and Krystle Xiques, 8 great grandchildren Nicholas Bischoff, Max Vaughan, Susie Bischoff, Jake Vaughan, Luke Bischoff, Emmie Vaughan, Owen Margeson, Gage Adubato-Roberts and many loving nieces and nephews. She had a strong devotion to St. Jude and the Blessed Mother. Sadie was fun loving and her happiest times were when she was with her family including her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was given the joyful news of twin great grandchildren arriving in July. Visitation will be Friday February 6th, 2015 from 3-8PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday February 7th, 2015 at 10:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church in Berkeley Township, NJ. Mausoleum entombment will follow at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church Christ the King Catholic Mausoleum in Berkeley Township, NJ. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.quinn-hoppingfh.com.
