Ronald L. Humbert Sr., 80, of Toms River, NJ, passed away at home on March 8, 2018. He was born in Paterson, NJ, and lived in Toms River for over 40 years. He was a proud Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Ronald was a truck driver, and retired from Woodhaven Lumber in Lakewood. He was into Citizens Band Radio (known as CB) during his trucking days, and enjoyed all of the people he conversed with. Ronald also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing his guitar, and trips to Atlantic City. He was a fun loving person that enjoyed the time he spent with friends and family.
Ronald was predeceased by his beloved wife of 42 years, Jennie, in 2017; his parents, Gilbert & Amelia Humbert; his brothers, Gill and Ray; and his sister Kathy. He is survived by his three sons: Ronald Jr., and wife Kelly of Barnegat, Gary of Toms River, and James of Bayville; his grandchildren: Darren, Emily, Shawn, Tyler, and Brianna; his sister Judith Humbert of Toms River; and two sisters-in-law: Rachel Fossett and Lisa Ferro Feury.
A prayer service in memory of Ronald will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11:0AM at St. Joseph’s Mausoleum Chapel at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 55 Cedar Grove Rd., Toms River. Inurnment will follow with his late wife Jennie at the cemetery.
