Roger L. Albert, 96, of Bensalem, PA and Toms River and Bloomfield, NJ, passed away on what would have been his 70th wedding anniversary, in Bensalem. He was the youngest son of Felix and Azilda (Michaud) Albert, born on July 31, 1927 in St. Agatha, ME. The last surviving sibling in a family of ten, 5 girls and 5 boys. He was pre-deceased by his loving wife Marion and his daughter Patty (Patricia) Schaber. He is survived by his children, Catherine Papuzenski and son Michael, Joseph and Sonya Albert and children, Christopher, Peter, Luke and Lena, Robert and Denise Albert and children Kirsten, Haley and Nicholas, and son-in-law Geoff Schaber and daughter Sarah, as well as his great-grandchildren. Roger was a wonderful husband, father, Grandpa, Pop Pop and Yankee fan. A truly religious man, he was one of the oldest altar servers at St. Maximilian Kolbe. He lead a Rosary group at his assisted living facility, usually held on the patio, where his sons had moved his Blessed Mother statue from his home. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in St. Maximillian Kolbe Church, 130 St. Maximilian Lane, Toms River, NJ 08757. Roger will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery, 62 Cedar Grove Road, Toms River, New Jersey 08753.
