Robert Henry Schlosser

Robert was born October, 1927, in the family home located at President Avenue, Lavallette, NJ. He spent many years serving the town of Lavallette working as a lifeguard, was a member of the Lavallette Police Department as well as the Fire and First Aid Squads. Additionally, he was a founding member of the Faith Lutheran Church.

Robert served in the U. S. Army during 1946-1947, most of that time in Europe.

He attended the University of Miami and Ocean County College. He was employed by Ocean National Bank, branch Manager of Bay Head Office until his retirement.

Robert had a passion for singing and was a choir member at Faith Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the Oceanaires Barbershop Chorus and sang with a quartet group named “Ol’ Barney Bouy’s.”

Robert was predeceased by his wife Eleanor (Ellie). He is survived by his sons Robert B. Schlosser and his wife Sara of Wolcott, Vt., and Gary K. Schlosser and his wife Holly of Toms River, NJ., granddaughters Sandi Jaremczuk and husband Johann, Jamie Kroll and husband William, Jennifer Schlosser and grandson Kyle Schlosser. Great grandchildren William, Lucas, Abigail, Baer, Augustine and Genevieve.
